Relentless perfectionist, audio pioneer and holder of 23 patents, Paul Wilbur Klipsch started his namesake company with the creation of the Klipschorn® in 1946. Fifty years of continuous innovation later, Paul was inducted into the Engineering and Science Hall of Fame, putting him in the company of Thomas Edison and the Wright Brothers, among others. Richard Heyser, writing for Audio magazine once said "...the Klipschorn, along with its designer Paul Klipsch, are true legends in the field of high-fidelity sound. Nothing I could write would do complete justice to its description..."

Paul’s goal was to reproduce the dynamics and excitement of a live orchestra performance in his living room.
